I thought that the native Finnish have had enough war experiences during the World War I and II. It was surprising to read from Turun Sanomat, that a young Finnish had died during the battle of Aleppo. What was more surprising was the news, that more young Finnish and even whole families with children have gone via Turkey to Siria.
Every new generation have it's fanatics, religious and political, which use always the same excuse for violence; oppression. How many conflicts have been solved with violence, and if you take your family with you to an area where there is going a civil war, it is only "gasoline" in the fire.
One of the biggest newspapers in Finland, Turun Sanomat, censured my antiwar comment based on comparison the "burka" with a bunker and pointing the fact of women's and children's fate between the fighting parts.(XKeyscore controlled)
Finnish have still a lurking "shoot back" -mentality, and if a religion can unite these three typical national elements : stubbornness, patriotism and "give it back"- mentality, there will be soon more Finnish Jihadist dying for Islam in Siria. The article of Turun Sanomat, was a pro-jihadist and proud to be one , without any war critic.
